For its 21st annual conference, the European Society for Textual Scholarship is heading to Lublin (Poland), from the 28th to the 30th of May 2026. The John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin welcomes the ESTS community to discuss the complex relationship between editorial practice and interpretation, engaging in renewed dialogue between textual scholarship and literary criticism.
The programme includes various social activities (including a meeting with Polish Nobel Prize-winning author Olga Tokarczuk and the Chair of The Nobel Committee for Literature, Anders Olsson), an EVT Workshop (taking place on the 27th of May), keynote lectures by John Rink and Yi Peng, and over 35 oral presentations.
